This picture of a pregnant doctor at work at a football game in Oklahoma – with her toddler strapped to her back – is going hugely viral on Facebook, with thousands of likes and shares.

The original poster explained what was going on:

She is 35 weeks pregnant, her husband is out of town, her childcare for her three-year-old fell through, and she had a game to work. So she’s doing it.

The woman in the picture is Dr Megan Meier, a sports and dance medicine specialist – she initially posted the picture to a Facebook group of other mothers in the field.

She’s delighted that so many people are inspired by her picture:

I thought [the other moms] would enjoy… seeing a visual representation of what we all do each and every day. I’m overwhelmed by the positive feedback and support the members of this group has been.
